Doron Gelfand

President

Doron is responsible for general operations at GY Properties, with 36 years of experience in the US residential market and more than $725M in acquisitions, developments, management and dispositions. Doron is Co-founder and Partner in Yardeni, Gelfand, Aberman & Co., a boutique Israeli accounting firm. Doron is a CPA and earned his BA in economics and accounting from Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is also well-known for his spectacular international handball career with the Israeli national team.

Haim Gelfand

CEO

Haim leads all residential activities and general operations at GY Properties and has extensive experience in real estate. Haim has supervised and functioned as the contractor on site of numerous projects since 2009. He has also served as an associate in one of Israel’s leading real estate law practices at Weksler, Bregman & Co., worked two years in EY’s transaction real estate team. Haim is a CPA and attorney at law in Israel. He earned his BA in accounting, his LLB, and MBA, with a concentration in financial management, from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Yonatan Gelfand

CEO of Gelfund R.E. Opportunities

Yonatan is responsible for structuring acquisitions, raising equity and devising growth strategies. He acts as a liaison with investors and oversees the day-to-day operations of the fund. Previously, Yonatan was an associate in three of Israel’s leading accounting and law firms. Yonatan is a CPA and attorney at law in Israel. He earned his BA in accounting, and his LLB and MBA, with concentration in financial management, from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Tomer Edelman

CFO

Tomer leads finance and legal activities at GY Properties, and is responsible for budgeting, reporting, accounting and taxation. Prior to joining GY Properties, Tomer worked as an associate in one of Israel’s leading law firms, Naschitz, Brandes, Amir & Co., and spent several years working as a tax advisor with PwC Israel, specializing in Israeli taxation and due diligence processes preceding potential M&A transactions. His clients included leading public and private companies (both local and multinational). Tomer is a CPA and attorney at law in Israel. He earned his BA in accounting, and his LLB and MBA, with concentration in financial management, from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Erez Regev

CDO

Erez is Director of Construction at GY Properties, overseeing all aspects of construction management and is skilled in project management, contract negotiation, and team leadership. He brings over 9 years of experience managing complex building projects. Prior to joining GY Properties, Erez was Head of Pre-Construction at MY Construction in London, where he coordinated bidding and tenders end-to-end, spearheaded negotiations, and managed recruitment and training. Before that, he spent 6 years as Projects Manager at Omer Construction in Israel, managing design teams, budgets, and construction of commercial buildings up to 1.1 million ft2. Erez earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering Management and Construction from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, with an emphasis on Project Management.

Arthur Ruppin

VP of Development

Arthur leads finance activities at GY Properties and has vast experience in real estate investments, development, construction and asset management in the US. Prior to joining GY Properties in 2003 as its Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Ruppin was the CEO of PLA Advance Construction Co. a real estate development and construction company in Israel and was also the CEO of Marathon Development Corp. a single homes builder in Connecticut and upstate New York. Arthur earned his BA in Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
